Safe Supervised Visitation Services:
What Is Supervised
Parenting Time?
Supervised parenting time may be court ordered for the parent and
children to take place in the presence of a trained professional. The
supervisor will encourage positive interaction between the parent and
children.
Care is taken to guarantee the safety of parents and their children at
all times. The facilitator remains within earshot and sight of the
parent and children, during the entire visit and exchange.
What Is The First Step?
Each parent schedules their own intake appointment. During the
appointment, I get to know the parent, their relationship with the
other parent and their children, as well as their situation.
At this time, I explain the process, along with my fees and schedule
the visitation. I offer my services to families who may elect to use
my office, or enjoy their visitation in the field. Supervision is
always provided in safe settings, determined by the supervisor and the
court.
Will I Have To See/Talk To The
Other Parent?
No. Parents arrive and leave at separate times, use separate parking
areas, entrances, and waiting area is taken to guarantee the safety of
parents and their children at all times. The facilitator remains
within earshot and sight of the parent and children, during the entire
visit and exchange.
